Thrifty-Sunday on a beautiful day in January

Happy Sunday people! So last night I was up until the wee hours of the morning obsessing and becoming inspired by tons of style/decor/fashion blogs that I knew instantly I had to start one of my own! After last nights inspirations I woke my deep sleeping a** up as early as I could (give me a break 9am is my early) and headed straight to a garage sale, Old Tustin Flea Market, and ended my diggins' at the OCC Swapmeet! Although I wasn't up and at em' early I still managed to find fabulous items!!!!

My first stop...garage sale....#totalfail.  You win some, you loose some. lol.

1. Vintage German Army First Aid Messenger Bag @ Old Tustin Flea Market.

Military look is still in!

Leather straps and buckles in great condition.

it reads: Deutsche Bundeswehr
6560-12-279-0034
Bergeluch, Verwundeten-in Tasche
Hermann Wighardt
Textilwerk
(....stay tuned to see me rock it with my newly purchase combat boots!!! I have seriously worn them nonstop.)

After, making my rounds I didn't think I would fine anything else.  It also didn't help that my Chai Tea Latte was about to run right through me and the only public restroom...you guessed it, a porter potty!  Not that I have a problem with porter potties but damn really did not want to use it. Anways thank god I did because I wouldn't have stuck around to find the next amazing addition to my accessory collection!

2. Swarvoski Crystal Leopard Ring @Old Tustin Flea Market

  • My inspiration for this find was the most beautiful ring ever that is the Panthere Ring! But since i'm not a millionaire and this is thekeeshaweeshaway we find the closest bargain!

<3

it reads: Thank you...(cute bag to walk away with)
Once I purchased these two items my work was done and I was on my merry way to see what I could find at the OCC Swapmeet.

My goal for the OCC Swapmeet was to find a book on sewing for beginners because duh! I want to learn! lol....unfortunately I didn't find a sewing book but I did find.....

3. The Secret Language of Dreams: A VISUAL KEY TO DREAMS AND THEIR MEANINGS By: David Fontana

  • I love books! Don't mind me if I add another one to my collection for a dollaa...

The Secret Language of Dreams
So I thought my trip was over until I heard a lady holler in spanish whatever I could find on the table was $1. Boy did I search that area up and down and of courseee i found.....

4. Leather Skirt @ OCC Swapmeet
  • Leather is totally in and for $1 you can't go wrong!!!!!!!!!

...this concludes my finds!! Till next time!

peace&love keeshaweesha
